Artificial Intelligence (AI)
‍Since the advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) is an unstoppable trend in our industry, we have already allocated resources to the comprehensive development of this technology including the AI optimisation of energy solutions adopted in our green hotel for 63.5% of energy savings since 2018. Through the support of innovative solutions, namely AI, BEANiE and so on, our project team can be able to gather real-time statistics via our Smart Site Safety System (SSSS) for managing full lifecycle. Accordingly, our frontline staff can report project-related status at any time to enable the management make accurate decisions, thereby reducing safety risks and streamlining the project even further.

Regarding the AI talent development, our GVDC Training Centre collaborates with industry leaders to provide a wide range of courses such as AI Full Building Lifecycle Management, BIM, etc.. Our team will thus be upgraded & equipped with the latest AI knowledge and technique and young generation will be inspired and eager to join our industry. Eventually, digital transformation of our Group and industry will be enhanced.

Robotics
With a view to dealing with the issue of labour shortages of our industry, Yau Lee is committed to developing and strengthening robotics for enhancing efficiency, quality and safety. We have already adopted such solutions in various projects with excellent achievements. For instance, our industry-leading robotic technologies, Drillbot -- plasma cuttina robot and Weldbot -- automatic welding robot, have been adopted in our design and construction project – “A Community Health Centre cum Social Welfare Facilities at Pak Wo Road, North District”. Via the use of these time and labour-saving robots, productivity has massively been raised by 189% and 437% respectively. With the improving quality and occupational safety and health, this project has thus been awarded with “Green Contractor Award 2021” organized by the ArchSD.
