【URA Visited Two Transitional Housing Projects at Ying Wa Street and Yen Chow Street】
Ms. Rosana Wong, Executive Director of Yau Lee Group, and the Project Team welcomed URA representatives to our two transitional housing projects at Ying Wa Street and Yen Chow Street for site visit and technical sharing. Apart from sharing the key information, opportunities and challenges of the two transitional housing projects and BEANiE, Hong Kong’s first BIM-enabled blockchain multifunctional platform, we also had a discussion on how to optimize the industry’s approval process and make use of construction digitialisation to shorten the design and construction period as well as fulfilling the environmental requirements. Yau Lee Group aims at supporting timely and adequate accommodation by adopting our MiC systems and innovative technologies.

The technical sharing was very successful. Yesterday was also the Thanksgiving Day. Yau Lee Group and the project team deeply felt the truth of “sharing will bring out a better outcome” and are always grateful for the trust of our clients. The Group also understands that “Creating Shared Value (CSV)” has become even more important than Corporate Social Responsibility. CSV is “the overlap between planning for economic benefit and a company’s ability to positively impact social and environmental conditions”. Therefore, the Group is always committed to investing a lot of resources, encouraging employees to innovate and carry out various R&D projects and implementing a sustainable business model in order to improve construction safety, productivity and buildability, and to ultimately support and contribute to Hong Kong’s long-term housing policy.
