In ancient China different trades had their own ancestors while Master Lu Pan was most widely respected by people in the construction industry. The legend of his contribution to the construction and carpentry industries has been passed down from one generation to the next and the tools and construction principles are still kept alive.

 

Today is Lu Pan Patron’s Day (the 13th day of June in the Lunar calendar each year). Every year Yau Lee Group hosts a gala dinner on Lu Pan Patron’s Day to honour the hard work and outstanding performance carried out by the colleagues. In order to reduce the risk of gathering in response to the pandemic, Lu Pan Patron’s Day dinner has been suspended this year. We hope that all of us can celebrate together in the coming year.
