【OASA | Tomorrow’s Technologies Today】
The Orion Astropreneur Space Academy (OASA) has hosted the first international NewSpace Conference in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area at Cyberport today to provide inspiring discussions for participants to gain insights into the dynamic space industry’s impact with visionary perspectives aligned with Hong Kong’s I&T Blueprint and China’s 14th 5-Year Plan.
The conference started with opening and welcome speeches delivered by Dr. G (Executive Director and President of OASA), Perry (Chairman of OASA), The Hon Duncan Chiu (LegCo Member) and Prof the Hon KF Wong (LegCo Member) and followed by a series of enlightening keynotes presentation from over 40 speakers including Chuandong Zhao (Taikonaut and Former Air Force Pilot) and Christopher Altman (NASA-Trained Commercial Astronaut).
Rosana of Yau Lee Group, also the council member and the former board member of OASA, served as a keynote speaker to share how space technology drives smart cities and also had panel discussion with Roy (Vice Chairman of OASA), Toa (CUHK) and Chon-kiat ( NTU Satellite Research Centre, Singapore).
Rosana thanks OASA for hosting the conference. She believes that everyone should prepare ourselves for the next opportunities and have the Moonshot Mindset: Go Big or Go Home!
