Apsara Conference 2023, organized by Alibaba Cloud, was held in the Hangzhou Cloud Town Exhibition Centre from Oct 31 to Nov 2. With the theme of “Computing for the Value Beyond Computation”, the Conference consisted of main forums, over 500 concurrent breakout sessions and an Intelligent Technology Expo across 40,000 sqm covering computing power, AI and industrial innovation.

 

Rosana of Yau Lee Group led the team to Hangzhou to witness the rapid development of the national cloud supply chain. In addition, Alibaba Cloud also invited Rosana to join the CxO Roundtable to meet with Dr. Wang Jian, Founder of Alibaba Cloud, to exchange on AI and cloud innovation.

 

Rosana and the team thank Alibaba Cloud for the invitation and kind arrangement. All of them have met different units of Alibaba Cloud, in particular Selina, President of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence International, who led the discussion on MNCs’ digital transformation and Guo Wei, Senior Development Engineer who is responsible for the DataV Data Visualisation Tool and has started collaboration with us for a while. DataV and LIVVY, a Super App of Yau Lee Group will soon launch, are coincidentally using letter “V” with the meaning of Victory and Rosana invited everyone to take photos with the “VV” sign to promote LIVVY as well as wishing a smooth launch. LIVVY is another key collaboration project in addition to the AI Full Lifecycle Management course jointly organized by our subsidiary GVDC and Alibaba Cloud. Rosana looks forward to having more in-depth collaboration with Alibaba Cloud in the near future to widely apply AI on different aspects.

 

Rosana and the team visited the Liangzhu Cultural Village before returning to Hong Kong. This small town shows the possibility of harmonious coexistence between people and nature with a redevelopment blueprint of “preserving the importance of the natural environment and human being”. It definitely demonstrates a successful example of heritage preservation and revitalization in Hangzhou.
