Yau Lee Group has held a New Year Feast this afternoon for the colleagues from the headquarters and the BIM Centre to gather around to celebrate and toast to a prosperity and healthy year.

 

Chairman Wong Ip Kuen shared a great news during the opening speech. A subsidiary Yau Lee Construction has just been awarded Hong Kong’s largest MiC residential design and build contract, providing about 5,300 units. The project will be built with the newest Hong Kong’s, if not the world, latest MiC and other construction technologies. It will consist of about 22,000 MiC modules and all 8 blocks are based on only 3 different layout plans to enable lean construction, increase the repeatability of MiC production and further improve productivity. In addition, a large number of thoughtful design have been added to cater the needs of the residents as well as to improve connectivity.

 

Chairman Wong and Rosana, Deputy Chair, encouraged all colleagues to work harder in the Year of the Dragon when giving red pocket money (lai see) and also reminded all to collaborate with each other to accomplish this “mission” and the most important, to bring a breakthrough and establish a standard to the industry, and may even export the knowhow to different countries to co-create sustainable smart construction and smart cities.
