Revolutionizing Urban Development with AI and Digitalization
The City University of Hong Kong (CityU) and the Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC) co-organized the “Revolutionizing Urban Development with AI and Digitalization: Climate Change-Resilient Planning, Design and Maintenance towards New Carbon” Symposium this afternoon (17/5).

Rosana of Yau Lee Group was invited to serve as a guest speaker and panelist to share her insights on the applications and influence of AI and digitalization in the construction industry, in particular how it helps the net zero carbon transition. In order to support the Climate Change Framework for Built Environment launched by the HKGBC, Yau Lee has always adopted sustainable construction practices, low carbon materials as well as smart technologies to facilitate the achievement of carbon neutrality in both new and existing buildings. For instance, we aim at renovating the Group’s hotel development is not just only conditions but also smart technologies and sustainability. Different approaches of digital twin will be adopted to cater four pillars of analytics including descriptive, diagnostics, predictive and prescriptive on a real-time basis, and ultimately achieve autonomous twin which has the ability to learn and act on behalf of users with the enriched IoT technologies and sensors.
