The CIC’s inaugural “Future Construction Excellence (FCE) Programme” offers an immersive learning experience to senior management in the industry by attending classes and international conference in the UK, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. It aims to promote the upgrading and transformation of Hong Kong’s construction industry, promote a positive industry culture and help companies develop comprehensive strategies for big projects and long-term success.

 

Rosana of Yau Lee Group was invited to share her insights on “Leading Business Change and Transformation in Hong Kong Context”. She began by introducing our MiC experiences, followed by the implementation of smart healthy living in the Group’s latest development and the hotel renovation process evolving from 1.0 to 3.0, featuring enhanced digital twin and a smart command theatre. Rosana further elaborated the importance of smart urbanism which formed a unique emerging solution to the major challenges faced by cities today through advanced technologies and data-driven strategies. To achieve this, she believes that Generative AI/ChatGPT could have a significant positive impact. Therefore, she is taking one step further by establishing a scientific AI data-driven model-based construction as her vision for the 21st century, aiming to foster AI as global public good.
