PolyU SPEED Celebrates 25 Years of Excellence at Anniversary Dinner
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Professional Education (PolyU SPEED) celebrated its 25th Anniversary at Hotel Icon tonight (24/3). Rosana of Yau Lee Group joined to celebrate its milestone of “Carrying Forward 25 Years of Legacy, Illuminating the Path Ahead”.
The ceremony commenced with an inspiring opening speech by Dr. Jason Chan, PolyU SPEED Director, who reflected on the remarkable growth over the past quarter-century. Dr. Chan announced that the number of courses offered has increased from 55 to an impressive 99, showcasing their dedication to expanding educational opportunities for its students.
Additionally, he highlighted the substantial support provided to students, noting that PolyU SPEED will offer “Belt and Road Scholarships” of up to HK$370,000 to help ease the financial burden on learners and promote access to higher education.
The celebration featured a vibrant array of performances by talented students, showcasing their diverse skills and creativity. From Guzheng, to busking, the students captivated the audience and demonstrated the artistic spirit that PolyU SPEED nurtures within its community.
