The HKIE Grand 50th Annual Dinner
The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) hosted its 50th Annual Dinner this evening (3/4) which united engineers, industry leaders, governmental representatives, academic experts, and dignitaries at local, regional, and international levels to commemorate five decades of monumental milestone.
 
CE John Lee was invited to deliver a speech and appraised HKIE’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and collaboration and acknowledged the vital role of engineers in shaping Hong Kong's infrastructure and development.
 
During the annual dinner, the HKIE 50th Anniversary Legacy Awards were also presented. It is designed to celebrate outstanding engineering projects, groundbreaking technologies, and transformative initiatives that have made a lasting impact one the engineering landscape, industry, and society of Hong Kong and across the globe over the past five decades, from the 1970s to 2010s and extended to the present.
 
Rosana of Yau Lee Group thanks Wilson Cheung for his invitation. She believes that engineers are the backbone of the city’s growth, and together we, the AECO industries, will build a sustainable future for generations to come.
