After the business luncheon in Lisbon, Rosana of Yau Lee Group returned to London to meet Prof Christoph Lindner, President and Vice-Chancellor of Royal College of Arts (RCA), and Prof Adrian Lahoud, Dean of the School of Architecture, to discuss the latest development in RCA’s Future Cities Lab. Rosana has made a generous pledge to support the Lab through her Prosit Philosophiae Foundation since 2018, fulfilling her vision to contribute to her alma mater. Similarly, Rosana has also supported the University of Hong Kong (HKU) in establishing the Joint Lab on Future Cities, led by Prof Becky Loo from the Department of Geography, Prof Hayden So from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Prof SC Wong from the Department of Civil Engineering. Under their leadership, both labs have been carrying out various research projects and collaborating to achieve collective intelligence which can provide better choices for urban living, allowing citizens to make more effective decisions. Both labs will also co-organize symposiums in Hong Kong and Dubai in November 2025 to capitalize on the distinct attributes of three locations while promoting a global dialogue on the future of urban living.
Rosana also participated in the RCA Graduate Show, an event showcasing the innovative talents from the School of Architecture and the School of Design. She was particularly impressed by the inspiring works on display, especially the Intelligent Mobility projects. All the works exemplified the creativity and forward-thinking approaches of artists, designers, architects, and innovators who are shaping the future of urban living. Rosana is glad to witness the next generation of creatives pushing boundaries and envisioning a more connected, sustainable world.
