Rosana from Yau Lee Group attended two tech-related events today (19/3), including the opening ceremony of Kowloon Sam Yuk Secondary School (KSYSS) SY 3 Plus, an innovative learning space, and ASTRI AI Seminar.

 

KSYSS has established a brand-new learning environment called “SY 3 Plus” bringing together spatial data technologies, bio-environmental recycling, building equipment kinetic power generation, drone applications, high-efficiency spatial scanning technologies, and AI-personalized learning in one place. Rosana and Benny from GVDC attended and officiated the opening ceremony this morning. Rosana was happy about for the students’ achievements and encouraged them to make good use of this innovative learning space. She also thanked Pastor Heywood and Principal Shirley for their leadership to help students see the world and discover the future.

 

Afterwards, Rosana attended ASTRI seminar “AI and Urban Planning: Creating Smarter Cities”, serving as a keynote speaker and panelist. She introduced how the Group uses AI to empower the construction industry—examples included MiC blockchain multifunctional platform, IoT safety solutions, smart command theatre, and low-altitude economy. During the panel discussion, participants talked about the need to cultivate talent for robotics and other AI R&D. Rosana thanked ASTRI CEO Ted for the invitation and looks forward to seeing more cross-sector collaborations to explore how AI can truly deliver measurable, long-term benefits to different industries.
