The HKIE Building Division Annual Dinner 2026 was held today (8/5), bringing together industry professionals, educators, and members of the engineering community to celebrate shared achievements and strengthen professional connections.

 

Cedric, Chairman of the HKIE Building Division, delivered the welcome speech to open the evening, highlighting the Division’s commitment to advancing the built environment, supporting practitioners, and nurturing the next generation of engineering talent. This was followed by the Opening Address by the Guest of Honour, Secretary Winnie Ho, a key moment that shared the latest MiC development and underscored the vital role engineering plays in serving the community, especially the staff of Housing Authority contributed wholeheartedly in the support services for Wang Fuk Court.

 

Rosana of Yau Lee Group, together with Richard and our nominated engineers, attended the dinner and greatly enjoyed the programme, especially the performance by the URA Kids Band. Rosana hopes that all young engineers can, just like these talented children, “play out” an outstanding and inspiring chapter in the construction industry - turning potential into impact and passion into performance.
