The Cyberport Venture Capital Forum (CVCF) is taking place today and tomorrow, with the theme of “Thriving in the Dynamic: Refocusing for Growth”. The Forum engages more than 100 venture capitalists and industry leaders to look into the new situation of the global venture capital market, investors and start-up financing strategies, new opportunities in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area (GBA) markets, as well as the development of start-ups and venture capital prospects in the field of smart living. Professor Sun Dong, the Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry gave the opening remarks and Mr. Simon Chan, Chairman of Cyberport delivered the welcome remarks.

 

As Director of Cyberport, Ms. Rosana Wong, Executive Director of Yau Lee Group has been invited to be the panel moderator of the session of “Driving Digital Construction Forward” at CVCF today. This further demonstrate her commitment in driving the digitalization of our industry and the development of venture capital market. During the Forum, Rosana discussed with the panellists about the Light Public Housing (LPH) scheme mentioned in the latest Policy Address. In addition, Rosana interacted with them regarding the digitalization in the construction industry, sustainability of buildings and green financing, for the government's pledge to achieve carbon neutrality before 2050. Finally, she encouraged our society to work together to make Hong Kong a healthier and smarter place.
