【Celebration of BIM Achievement 2022】
The Celebration of BIM Achievement 2022 (CBA 2022), co-organised by the Development Bureau and the Construction Industry Council (CIC), aims to inspire organisations and practitioners to continually be creative, innovative, transformative or disruptive in bringing BIM to its full potential by recognizing and sharing their achievements with all stakeholders. The ceremony took place at Zero Carbon Park today. Mr. Roger Wong, Deputy Secretary for Development, has been invited as the Guest of Honour and the representatives from CIC including Ir Thomas Ho, Chairman, Ar. Ada Fung, Chairperson of Committee on BIM and Mr. Alex HO, Assistant Director - Industry Development, also attended this event.
 
Yau Lee Group is always committed to driving the development of BIM in Hong Kong. Global Virtual Design and Construction Limited (GVDC), wholly owned by Yau Lee Group, has been presented with three awards, including:

//BIMers 2022 - Mr. Benny Liu, Chief Technology Officer of GVDC
//BIM Project 2022 - Construction of Public Housing Development at Tung Chung Area 99
 
These awards recognized not only our excellent innovations and achievements in BIM, but also BIM skills of our teams, as well as our experiences and knowledge sharing. Ms. Rosana Wong, Executive Director of Yau Lee Group, Mr. Benny Liu, and Mr. Roy Keung, Chief Commercial Officer of GVDC, are delighted to receive the award of BIM Organisation 2022 on behalf of the Company from Ir. Ho.
 
Ms. Wong is honoured for GVDC to be awarded with the BIM Organisation 2022 because this is a significant recognition from the industry. Meanwhile, Benny expressed his gratitude to the support from the Group and the effort made by GVDC team for winning of BIMers 2022. He also wants to thank his clients and business partners for their trust in him, and will do his best to contribute to the development of BIM in the future. Additionally, Rosana pointed out that the winning of BIM Project 2022 by the public housing project at Tung Chung Area 99 further proves our innovative adoption of BIM and commitment for sustainable development. She added that GVDC will continue to drive the adoption and promotion of BIM so as to further enhance the development of I&T technology in the industry.
