Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy developed a decade ago provides us a solid foundation for our overall ESG approach focusing five major areas including ethics, environment, safety, people and community, which guides us the way we manage our ESG issues in face of the rapidly changing regulatory environment and customers’ expectations and community lives. Our construction business executes projects in conformity to our CSR principle of building quality buildings with benefit to the society. By leveraging MiC technology in the construction process, we greatly shortened construction duration while enhancing quality and safety, as well as minimizing environmental impact, underscoring our commitment to sustainability and community welfare. In line with our commitment to combat climate change, we joined the HKQAA Net-Zero Certificate Program in 2023, pledging to reduce our GHG emission intensity by 6% and 30% by 2025 and 2035 respectively. Accordingly, we have implemented a range of decarbonisation measures and established key performance indicators across business units with a view to achieve the carbon-neutral targets and reduce our environmental impact.
