Yen Chow Street Modular Social Housing is built with demountable concrete Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) to offer a total of 205 residential units in two 4-storey blocks. Barrier-free units will also be provided.

 

There are 340 demountable concrete MiC modules (commonly known as “boxes”) in this project. All of them are reusable in other locations.

 

Yau Lee Construction Co Ltd has also adopted 5G construction robots, for instance, MobiScanning for surveying and MobiLog for patrolling, to replace manual work in order to speed up construction process and reduce construction cost. All these robots are developed by a local startup.
