With the theme of “O! Archi Say” and the dress code of “Viva Magenta - Pantone’s Colour of 2023", the ArchSD Annual Dinner cum Annual Award was held this evening. Conrad, Vice Chairman of Yau Lee Group, Rosana, Executive Director, Richard, General Manager, together with Emil and Sammi, Project Directors, attended the event to support our industry.

 

Mr. Edward Tse, Director of Architectural Services, delivered the welcome speech. Ms. Bernadette Linn, Secretary for Development, and Ir Ricky Lau, Permanent Secretary for Development, served as judges and awards presenters for the incredible performance of “Master Chef”. Mr. Michael Li, Deputy Director of Architectural Services, then played and sung an original song written by his own team and all guests were touched by the lyrics about “building Hong Kong with dreams”. Thanks to the trust from the ArchSD and close collaboration with their project team, the Disciplined Services Quarters for the Fire Services Department at Pak Shing Kok has been awarded with the “Special Award (Buildability)” tonight.

 

Rosana is honored to receive an award again.

 

She is inspired by the creative performances of “Master Chef” and Michael, as well as Viva Magenta carrying the meaning of brave and fearlessness. This encourages the Group to think out of the box and be determined to implement more innovative elements to achieve new heights.

 

During the banquet, Rosana took pictures and interacted with numerous guests, including Ms. Winnie Ho, Secretary for Housing, Mrs. Sylvia Lam, former Director of Architectural Services, etc. Rosana expressed her gratitude for Sylvia’s inspiration on the development of BEANiE, Hong Kong’s first blockchain multifunctional platform for the management of MiC full lifecycle. Once again, congratulations to all of the winners tonight. We look forward to further collaboration with the ArchSD and practitioners to unleash the spirit of Viva Magenta - capable of driving design to create a more positive future.
