Rosana, Founder and CEO of GVDC attended the launching ceremony of the Hong Kong Construction Common Data Environment Award (CDEA) 2023, co-organized by the Development Bureau and the Construction Industry Council (CIC), this afternoon. Ir Thomas Ho, Chairman of CIC, has given the welcome address and followed by the Guest of Honor, Ir John Kwong, Head of Project Strategy and Governance Office, Development Bureau, who delivered the opening remarks and introduced how the Government promotes the adoption of Digital Planning and Design System (DPDS), Digital Works Supervision System (DWSS) and Integrated Capital Works Platform (iCWP) in CDE. Afterwards, Dr Winnie Tang, Chairperson of the Organizing Committee, has introduced the details of this Awards.

 

Rosana fully supports the Government and the CIC in promoting the application of CDE, so that the building information generated throughout the lifecycle can be collected and shared accurately and efficiently. GVDC will fully cooperate with policies and work with the industry to establish a sustainable CDE ecosystem.
