Conrad and Rosana of Yau Lee Group attended the CIC Digital Twin Hub Opening Ceremony this morning. The Hub aims at accelerating construction digitalization and serving a new platform to facilitate knowledge exchange, nurture talent and inspire innovation in the field of digital twin and construction technology.
Thomas, Chairman, Albert, Executive Director, and Jack, Chairperson of Committee on BIM and Construction Digitalisation, all from the CIC and other guests including Ir Joseph Lo, Acting Head of Project Strategy and Governance Office of Development Bureau, and Peter, CEO of Cyberport, delivered speech and keynote sharing for the opening ceremony. VIP tour was also provided to the guests to experience the real-life applications of digital twin technology, showcases of Smart Site Safety System (SSSS) and hands-on workshop on digital twin.
Rosana believes that digital twin is an indispensable and important technology for smart city. The Group will implement strengthened digital twin technology on the latest hotel. Combining with IoT, big data and AI, we will be able to analyse and monitor the progress as well as future operation in a real time manner which enable us to achieve better planning in building resources, maintenance and engineering works, both in predictive and prescriptive measures, and ultimate support the sustainable development of a smart hotel. In addition to the construction industry, digitalization can also be applied to smart production, smart mobility and smart supply chains. Rosana looks forward to having further collaboration and integration of digital twin technology with industry players and more stakeholders to fully utilize its benefits for the development of smart cities.
