The closing ceremony of The Global Smart Cities Summit cum The 3rd International Conference on Urban Informatics was held today. Prof John Shi was invited to deliver a closing remark and followed by the presentation of Smart City Technology Innovation Awards. BEANiE has been awarded the silver medal of the Smart City Technology Innovation Awards for its innovation and impact on smart city after an on-site assessment by esteemed judges.

 

Rosana thanks Prof Shi for his invitation and the organisers for holding this biannual event to provide a platform for speakers and participants from all over the world to exchange the insights and research on urban informatics and smart cities. At the same time, Rosana also would like to congratulate other winners, especially two government departments including the Housing Department and Lands Department, and look forward to seeing all participants in the next event.
