The International Society for Urban Informatics and the Otto Poon Charitable Foundation Smart Cities Research Institute are hosting the Global Smart Cities Summit cum The 3rd International Conference on Urban Informatics (GSCS & ICUI 2023) at the PolyU from Sunday (20/8) to Wednesday (23/8).

 

Rosana of Yau Lee Group attended the opening ceremony this morning. During the ceremony, Prof. Jin-Guang Teng, President of the PolyU and Prof. Dong Sun, Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, delivered welcome remarks and opening address respectively and followed by the announcement of Smart City Index and Ranking by Prof. Wenzhong Shi, Chair of Conference Organising Committee. After the group photo session, two renowned professors, Prof. Michael Batty from the University College London and Prof. Michael Goodchild from the University of California delivered keynote addresses on Digital Twins.

 

Throughout the GSCS & ICUI 2023, keynote speakers including Prof. Jianya Gong of the Wuhan University, Prof. Renzhong Guo of the Shenzhen University, Prof. Ying Jin of the University of Cambridge and Prof. Anthony Yeh of The University of Hong Kong, and hundreds of industry experts, academics, researchers and friends join together to explore future smart city development as well as innovative theories and technologies in urban informatics.
