Smart Campus x Innotech Taster Programme 2023 cum Internship Certificate Presentation, organizer by the Hong Kong Technology Advancement Group (HKtag), was held this afternoon. Rosana of Yau Lee Group was invited to share the benefits of talent cultivation and the future of the youngsters in smart construction. Prior to the sharing session, Alfred, Advisor@HKtag was invited to deliver a welcome remarks and certificates were presented to the winners and participants of the Smart Campus Project Programme and the Internship Programme by Mr. Jeff Sze, Under Secretary for Education and Casper, Advisor (Youth & Community)@HKtag. The Tiger of Good Hope School is the overall champion who designed an apps namely Estellation to enhance the mobility around the school not only for the students but also the school bus drivers and the residents.

 

Rosana thanks HKtag for organizing the internship programme and Eddie, Founder and President, for his invitation, and not to mention the referral of talented students to support the Group. We have employed over 70 interns this year via different channels. They offered great opportunities to our team to boost the leadership skills as well as some of the outstanding interns always introduced new ideas which could be a source of creative ideas and innovation solutions to inspire us. Indeed, attracting young people to join the construction industry is crucial to meet the manpower demand in future in particular dealing the significant changes on construction digitalization. Yau Lee Group is supportive of the government’s initiatives in advocating “Innovation, Professionalisation and Revitalisation” by wide adoption of MiC, BIM, AI and other technologies to keep abreast of the trends and ultimately attract growing numbers of young and energetic talent to join the construction industry.
