China Green Building (HK) Council received delegation led by Ms. Ye Qing, President of the Shenzhen Institute of Building Research (IBR), this afternoon. This was the first time to meet after 3-year pandemic. Stephen, Director of CGBC(HK), delivered a welcome speech to kick start the workshop and Rosana of Yau Lee, as a Deputy Director of CGBC(HK), and Vicky, council member, then introduced the recent developments and achievements in green buildings and healthy building. Rosana introduced how MiC and BEANiE multifunctional blockchain platform can help facilitate green construction. Last but not least, Ms. Ye shared her insights on green construction. She believes that one who implements green construction has to persist until successful. Everyone should have clear goals and a sense of mission which is the inner source of motivation. Ms. Ye also invited CGBC(HK) to work together on establishing green building standard and have more closer collaboration.
