”Exploring the Opportunity of Co-hosting the World Expo 2035 by HK & SZ” Community Engagement Workshop
A Community Engagement Workshop, hosted by the Master of Science in Urban Planning of the HKU, was held this afternoon to bring together construction professional, environmentalists, cultural heritage experts and stakeholders to generate constructive suggestions on the opportunities of Hong Kong and Shenzhen co-hosting World Expo 2035. Rosana of Yau Lee Group was invited to join to share her insights in terms of smart construction, smart mobility and smart living.
Hosting the World Expo 2035 will create an opportunity to showcase Hong Kong’s and the Greater Bay Area’s technological development. It will also become a catalyst to speed up the development of the Northern Metropolis where the Lok Ma Chau Loop will be the idea location to hold the World Expo 2035. There are still around 12 years to go, Rosana looks forward to working with other stakeholders to contribute the Northern Metropolis as well as facilitate the innovation and technology industry towards the harvest time for the preparation of bidding and hosting the World Expo 2035.
