GVDC, a subsidiary of Yau Lee Group, has entered into a MoU agreement with Alibaba Cloud and was announced in today’s Alibaba Cloud Summit Hong Kong 2023.

 

Before the announcement, Ir Tony Wong, Government Chief Information Officer, and Leo, GM of Alibaba Cloud Hong Kong, Macau region & Philippines, were invited to deliver a welcome remarks and opening speech to kick start the Summit. Leo invited everyone to imagine how Victoria Harbour will change in 10 years to illustrate the importance of AI-driven sustainable innovation.

 

A total of five strategic partnership and MoU agreements were then announced including the collaboration between GVDC and Alibaba Cloud on the digital innovation in construction industry in particular the development of a construction cloud by leveraging Alibaba Cloud’s AI and computing services technologies and GVDC’s expertise in BIM, Full Lifecycle Management, Common Data Environment (CDE) and ISO19650.

 

Back in 2018, GVDC developed BEANiE, Hong Kong’s first blockchain multifunctional platform for MiC management, with Alibaba Cloud’s blockchain node services and subsequently launched an AI Full Lifecycle Management Course with Alibaba Cloud.
