The 2023 Honours and Awards Presentation Ceremony was held today (November 25) at the ballroom of Government House. Rosana, Deputy Chair of Yau Lee Group, has been awarded the Medal of Honour by the Chief Executive, Mr. John Lee, in recognition of her dedicated and valuable contributions to the development of innovation and technology.

 

Rosana facilitated the Group to become a green integrated corporation and led the Group to move towards internationalisation. She is driven by her passion for adopting sustainable technological advancement and interdisciplinary R&D and founded Ophylla Ventures in 2016 to support a series of startups in the context of smart city. Rosana also actively participated in the development of smart city in Hong Kong. In addition to serving as a Vice President of Smart City Consortium, Deputy Director of China Green Building Council (HK), former Director of Cyberport and members of different government advisory committees, she has established Prosit Philosophiae Foundation in 2012 to sponsor students from the Dept of Philosophy of the CU to study abroad as well as to support the HKU and the RCA to set up “Future Cities Lab” which gather experts for joint R&D and provide better choices for Hong Kong, the Motherland and the world in order to actualise her vision for common good and social good.
