HKIBIM Award 2023 Presentation Ceremony
The HKIBIM Award 2023 Presentation Ceremony was held this evening to recognize the outstanding BIM achievement in the past year. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the HKIBIM and the Award 2023, themed with “Building Better with BIMers”, highlights the important role of BIMers and the use of BIM, and serves as a platform to showcase BIMers’ capabilities and excellent work.
 
Yau Lee Group has received the following awards in recognition of its wide BIM adoption and collaboration in the projects to facilitate digital construction:
 
☑️Global Virtual Design and Construction Limited (GVDC): Grand Award of BIM Organization
☑️Dedicated Rehousing Estate at Hung Shui Kiu Phase IA: Grand Award of BIM Projects (Statutory Bodies Projects)
☑️HKSH Eastern Medical Centre: Grand Award of BIM Projects (Private Development Projects)
☑️Public Housing Development at Tung Chung Area 99: Gold Award of BIM Project (Statutory Bodies Projects)
☑️A 36-classroom primary school at Area 9, Tai Po: Silver Award of BIM Project (Government Projects)
 
In addition to the above awards, Rosana of Yau Lee Group is nominated as an Hononrary Fellow of the HKIBIM in view of her contribution in BIM adoption. As a technology enthusiast, Rosana has been leading the Group to become a pioneer in BIM since 2007 and moved from 3D to 5D early in 2010. Upon the completion of the first 5D BIM project, she founded GVDC to strengthen the implementation of BIM and other Virtual Design and Construction solutions for the Group as well as the industry. During the past 10 years, Rosana conducted more than 120 BIM-related talks to inspire more talents to pursue careers in this field and drive innovation and build a better Hong Kong.
 
Rosana would like to give a heartfelt thanks to HKIBIM, its Chairman, Simon, and the board members for the appointment and clients, consultants and Yau Lee’s project teams for their support and encouragement. She is committed to advancing BIM adoption and catalyzing the collaboration between Hong Kong and China for the development of BIM solutions.
