The 11th International Conference on BIM Technology
Organized by the China Graphics Society and co-organized by the GHM Greater Bay Area Institute of Urban Architecture (Hong Kong), the Hong Kong Institute of Building Information Modelling and the Hong Kong Alliance of Built Asset & Environment information Management Associations, the 11th International Conference on BIM Technology was successfully held yesterday (30/5) and today (31/5).
 
With the theme of “Empowering Digital construction and Management of Future Cities by BIM”, this conference focused on the strategies and policies on smart construction and management of the national and international future cities and its interpretation and implementation and the applications of smart design, smart construction and smart integration by using new generation of information technology includng BIM, big data, IoT and AI, etc.
 
Rosana of Yau Lee Group thanks the organizers for bringing China’s largest BIM conference to Hong Kong. She and the team have learnt a lot from the local and overseas expert via multidisciplinary discussions as well as inviting her to have a joint presentation with Patrick of Alibaba Cloud and Simon of China State on the importance of digital twin, construction digitalization and Common Data Environment (CDE). By illustrating the renovation of the Group’s latest hotel development, Rosana shared that the Group not only focuses on its conditions but also smart technologies and sustainability through different technologies, for instance, digital twin solutions has been adopted to cater four pillars of analytics including descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive on a real-time basis, and towards autonomous twin which has the ability to learn and act on behalf of the user with the enriched IoT technologies and sensors.
