The kick-off ceremony of the Design and Construction of Public Housing Developments at Tuen Mun Area 54 Site 4A (South) and Site 5 was held this morning (31/5). Mr. IK Wong, Conrad and Rosana of Yau Lee Group joined together with the project team to celebrate this milestone. This project includes 4 blocks, from 35 to 46 storeys. One of the blocks has a refuge floor and it will be the tallest MiC resident building in Hong Kong upon completion. The entire project provides a total of 2,495 units and all the units will be built using Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) method, with nearly 7,000 MiC modules.

 

In additional to the above projects, Yau Lee Group is currently building more than 25,000 MiC units. Therefore, the Group is well prepared including the expansion of Yau Lee Wah Mega Plant where the annual production capacity has been increased by around 230% as well as the optimization of BEANiE, a blockchain multifunctional platform for MiC lifecycle management, to ensure high quality, just-in-time delivery and lean construction.
