Yau Lee Construction has recently completed the Hong Kong Housing Society’s first MiC subsidised sale flats project. On the morning of 1/11, Rosana of Yau Lee Group accompanied KK, HKHS Chairman, and James, HKHS CEO, and David Lam, Under Secretary for Development, conducted a site walk prior to the intake of the first homeowner.
Eminence Terrace I is located in Hung Shui Kiu and is equipped with a Green Transit System, making a complete and convenient transportation network. In addition, with the government's efforts to develop the Northern Metropolis, Hung Shui Kiu will become a “modern service industry cooperation zone”, continuously creating new opportunities for the local residents.
Rosana is glad that Yau Lee Construction has taken part in the project and expresses gratitude to the project team for their extra efforts. Both the HKHS and the professionals who have visited are thoroughly impressed with the quality of the building.
Apart from being HKHS’ first MiC project, it is also first residential project in Hong Kong featuring pre-assembled MiC balconies. In order to solve the logistic problem, balcony is combined into the living room as an integrated MiC module to reduce the height. With the adoption of MiC which managed by BEANiE and Smart Site, the duration of the project’s superstructure works was shortened by 24 months as well as reduced 75% of the manpower and achieved 4-day construction cycle.
Rosana wishes the HKHS a smooth handover process and hopes that the residents of 300 units will enjoy a pleasant and convenient new life in their new homes. Yau Lee Construction will continue to support and align with the government's MiC policy, adopting more innovative technologies to build additional residential units in Hong Kong.
