HKIS QS Awards Presentation Ceremony cum QSD Annual Dinner 2024
Organised by the Quantity Surveying Division (QSD) of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS), the QS Award Presentation Ceremony cum Annual Dinner was held tonight (1/11) to express recognition to outstanding QS in Hong Kong for their professional achievements and their contributions to the development of the local construction industry and the community.
 
The event kicked off with a warm welcome from Tim, Chairman of QSD of the HKIS, and followed by an opening remarks by Secretary Winnie Ho, highlighting the importance of “do more with less” to maintain the competitiveness of Hong Kong.
 
Rosana of Yau Lee Group and the project team members joined together to celebrate with the industry leaders, professionals and distinguished guests. We are pleased to announce that our latest mix-used development and two MiC projects have been awarded with the following recognitions:
 
????L. Living 23 - Merit Award in QS Awards on Projects (Sustainability)
????Dedicated Rehousing Estate at Hung Shui Kiu Phase 1A - Bronze Award in QS Awards on Projects (Innovation)
????A 36-classroom primary school at Area 9 Tai Po - Bronze Award in QS Awards on Projects (Sustainability)
???? Public Rental Housing and Subsidized Sale Flats Development at Queen's Hill Site 1 - Gold Award in QS Awards on Projects (Sustainability)
????Ying Wa Street Modular Transitional Housing - Bronze Award in QS Awards on Projects (Sustainability)
???? Public Rental Housing Development at Fanling Fai Ming Estate - Bronze Award in QS Awards on Projects (Contract and Financial Management)
 
Rosana thanks HKIS for hosting the event which serves not only as a celebration but also as a vital platform for collaboration and knowledge sharing within our community. She also thanks the project teams in particular our QS who have exemplified dedication, innovation and professionalism to make remarkable contributions to the project and the company.
 
????The ceremony of the HKIE Structural Excellence Award was also held tonight. It aims at promoting excellence in structural engineering through design and construction of buildings / infrastructures and research and application. Ying Wa Street Modular Transitional Housing has been awarded Commendation Merit Award of Hong Kong Residential Project.
