The Alibaba Cloud Summit Hong Kong 2024, focusing on “Empowering Sustainable Futures with AI-Driven Innovation Platform”, was held today (27/11) to gather Alibaba Cloud leaders and industry experts. The summit showcased how AI and cloud technologies are driving sustainability and reshaping industries, and it also celebrated the important milestone of the 10th anniversary of its establishment in Hong Kong.

 

Rosana of Yau Lee Group was invited as one of the officiating guests to participate in the launch ceremony of the “Technology for the Future” programme, which aims to provide growth momentum for enterprises harnessing AI and facilitate the sustainable innovation of Hong Kong. Prior to the launch ceremony, welcome and opening remarks were given by Prof. Dong Sun (Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry), Mr. Joe Tsai (Chairman of Alibaba Group) and Ms. Selina Yuan (VP of Alibaba Group) to kick off the Summit, followed by a keynote speech from Dr. Jian Wang (Founder of Alibaba Cloud).

 

Rosana thanks Alibaba Cloud for inviting her and her team to this remarkable summit, especially for Dr. Wang’s inspirational and insightful speech which reminded us the importance of embracing change as “AI is now equal to transformer”. Rosana shared the same thoughts and has been concentrating a grand vision of utilizing Generative AI to maximize benefits to the construction industry and ultimately create a smarter and brighter sustainable future.
