The official opening of the IWF 50th Anniversary Cornerstone Conference was held this morning (21/11). After the memorable opening reception taken place at the Palace Museum last night, Rosana of Yau Lee Group and the world female leaders joined together to address a wide range of critical issues of regional and global significance.

 

Prior to a series of the plenary sessions, the Financial Secretary, Mr Paul Chan, was invited to deliver a welcome address by sharing Hong Kong’s advantages, vision, and progress.

 

The plenary sessions and the Fireside Chat covered diverse topics ranging from the future of financial markets to shifting supply chains, tackling demographic challenges and developing medical systems by esteemed speakers including Prof Nancy Ip (President of the HKUST), Luanne Lim (CEO of HSBC), Vanessa Lau (Co-COO & Group CFO of HKEX Group), Dr. Nancy Jecker (Professor of the UW School of Medicine), Dr. Sarah Salvilla (Group CHO of FWD Group), etc.

 

After the IWF Cornerstone Conference, Rosana attended the World Green Organisation (WGO) Exclusive C-suite Luncheon themed “Beyond ESG –Leading the Transition to Competitive Sustainability in Asia”. William Yu of WGO delivered an opening speech to kick off the discussion. Ms. Lindsay Hooper and Ms. Jie Zhou, both from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, were invited to join and discussed with industry leaders, policymakers and sustainability advocates to explore innovative strategies and practices that promote the implementation of ESG and enhance current framework.
