Inspires IVE Students with Insights on Sustainable Urban Development
As a Vice President of the Smart City Consortium, Rosana from Yau Lee Group was invited to deliver an enlightening presentation today (14/2) at IVE (Tuen Mun), focusing on “Green Buildings in Hong Kong: Sustainability and Urban Development.”
 
The event gathered students from the HD in Architectural Studies and HD in Building Studies programs to learn about the critical role of sustainable construction technologies in shaping a greener future with a net-zero vision. Rosana highlighted innovative practices including but not limited to MiC, BIM, blockchain, AI robotics and digital twin, as well as the Group’s green journey since 2005.
 
Rosana also emphasized the importance of the “unity of knowledge and action (知行合一),” a philosophical concept meaning that knowledge and action should go together and support each other. Most importantly, she reminded all students that “attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference” and encouraged them to think positively and bear in mind that “The Change We Want, The Change We Make” to foster a sustainable and colorful future.
