The Construction Innovation Expo 2022 (CIExpo) has already been opened at HKCEC yesterday. Yau Lee's booth is located in the "Industrialisation" section at 1E-A5 to show all our guests with wide range of smart construction solutions, from MiC, Hong Kong’s first blockchain-enabled multifunctional platform -- BEANiE 5.0, AI Full Lifecycle Management, 5D BIM to industry-leading robotic technologies.

 

A series of activities are also carried out at the same time, including the “MiC Achievement Ceremony”, one of the signature events of the CIExpo, has been held this morning. Via this event, holistic benefits of MiC are emphasised to facilitate extensive adoption of this innovative technology to meet the upsurge of demand in housing. Ms. Bernadette Linn, Secretary for Development has been invited as the guest of honour. Yau Lee Group has been presented with the following awards:

Meanwhile, our Executive Director Ms. Rosana Wong attended the “International Conference on Construction Digitalisation” on behalf of the Group and Global Virtual Design and Construction Limited (GVDC) to sign a Construction Digitalisation Charter to affirm a commitment of enhancing safety, quantity, speed, efficiency and quality of our construction projects through digitalisation as well as become a supporting organisation of iBEAM Unison which enable industry practitioners to maximize the usage of BIM for green building assessment, carbon assessment and sustainable finance certification. iBEAM Unison facilitate a digital environment that enhances the exchange of green building data throughout the construction lifecycle.

 

In addition, Global Construction Summit & CIC Construction Innovation Award 2022 Presentation Ceremony has been taken place yesterday morning. Mr. Paul Chan, Financial Secretary, was the Guest of Honour and international experts including曾憲新司長 from the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China were also invited to deliver speeches.
