We always put project and site safety first, and support R&D about industrial safety. Ms. Rosana Wong, Executive Director of Yau Lee Group, has sponsored HK$200,000 for Research Projects of the Centre for Advances in Reliability and Safety Limited (CAiRS) on behalf of Yau Lee Construction Co. Ltd under the Group and presented the cheque to Ir Prof. Winco Yung, Centre Director and Executive Director of CAiRS and Prof. WT Wong, Deputy President and Provost of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) this Monday.

 

Rosana is glad that Yau Lee to be the 33rd local corporation partnering with CAiRS to drive industrial safety via co-developing innovative solutions. “We will continue to support the relevant research projects enhancing the site safety, includes the operation of cranes and so on,” Rosana added. It’s worth mentioning that CAiRS, initiated by the PolyU, is established in 2020. The mission of this Centre is to link up academic and industrial counterparts to introduce and implement new artificial intelligence methods and deep learning techniques with reliability modelling, together with the goal of improving the products reliability and systems safety of Hong Kong enterprises.
