The Architectural Services Department (ArchSD) hosts an exhibition, "Building Hong Kong", at Zero Carbon Park for the people in HK to explore the history of our construction industry and scrutinize the development trajectory as well as unique culture of our city. The opening ceremony was officiated by Mr. Edward Tse, Director of Architectural Services, last week. Ms. Rosana Wong, Executive Director of Yau Lee Group has also been invited to attend the event.

 

Yau Lee Group is always driving forward the development of the construction industry in Hong Kong, while advocating and adopting innovative technologies extensively. Meanwhile, "Building Hong Kong" demonstrates our industry-leading robotic technologies, Drillbot -- plasma cuttina robot and Weldbot -- automatic welding robot, which have been adopted in our design and construction project – “A Community Health Centre cum Social Welfare Facilities at Pak Wo Road, North District”. Via the use of these time and labor-saving robots, productivity has massively been raised by 189% and 437% respectively. With the improving efficiency, quality and site safety, this project has thus been awarded with “Green Contractor Award 2021” organized by the ArchSD.
