【HKHS 75th Anniversary Cocktail Reception】
2023 marks the 75th anniversary of the Hong Kong Housing Society (HKHS) and have organized a series of activities under the theme of “Creating Homes for Sustainable Living” throughout the year, including the Reception Cocktail held at the HKCEC this evening. Ms. Winnie Ho, Secretary for Housing, was invited as the Guest-of-Honour.

Rosana, Executive Director of Yau Lee Group, congratulates the HKHS on its 75th anniversary and thanks for 5 past chairmen and the current chairman Mr. Chan Kar-lok to lead the team to complete 100 projects for Hong Kong as well as their trust in our group. Yau Lee Group has built for HKHS since 2012 and completed the first project “Greenview Villa” under the “My Home Purchase Scheme” originally proposed by the Government and later converted into the Subsidised Sale Flats (SSF) Project which provided 998 “practical but not extravagant” units to the citizens.

The Group is currently constructing 2 HKHS projects with an total of 600 units, including the Subsidised Sale Housing at Hung Shui Kiu Phase 1A which will be Hong Kong’s tallest MiC building once completed and the Rental Estate at Shek Pai Wan Road which is a “miracle” project building on a slope within limited space.

The Group is pleased to construct more outstanding buildings for HKSH and collaborate with them to enhance productivity, quality and safety with ESG elements, and ultimately create a sustainable community for multi-generations in a double-ageing environment. We look forward to welcoming many more “stories of the HKHS” to come.
