Ms. Rosana Wong, Executive Director of Yau Lee Group, shared the application of autonomous vehicle and 5G robots in construction industry.

Ms. Rosana Wong, Founder and President of Ophylla Ventures, was invited by The Faculty of Architecture, HKU to serve as a speakerfor the “Seminar-Workshop Series in Urban Analytics” of the Lands Department. Rosana is also the Founder and CEO of Urban.Systems and possesses 5 years of experience in the R&D of autonomous vehicle. She believes that effective sharing of spatial data can bring enormous benefits to smart mobility. During the seminar, Rosana shared the test experiences of the past three generations of autonomous vehicles as well as introducing the latest 4th generation of MobiPro. MobiPro is the first MaaS autonomous shuttle in the HKSTP. Rosana also introduced a series of 5G robots, developed by Urban.Systems, and its adaptation in construction sites. When talking about the construction industry, Rosana must introduce the MiC technology of Yau Lee Group. Rosana, also the Executive Director of Yau Lee Group, is glad that the MiC technology, together with BEANiE – Hong Kong’s first blockchain multifunctional platform – could help relieve the housing burden in Hong Kong. BEANiE has developed its latest 3.0 version which includes the monitoring of driving route and in-car air quality to improve the working environment for the drivers and hence enhancing driving safety. Lastly, Rosana highlights that the next seminar in March will focus on the interaction between autonomous vehicle and human/environment as well as to discuss the application of NFT in smart mobility, which can even be used to build a smart mobility ecosystem and Metaverse towards carbon neutrality.
