Kick-off Ceremony of the Rental Estate at Shek Pai Wan Road, being constructed by Yau Lee, has been hosted at this morning with the presence of Mr. James Chan, CEO of the Hong Kong Housing Society (HKHS), and his management team including Frankie, Director, Franco, Assistant Director, Gordon, General Manager, Engelbert, Senior Manager, and our Chairman Mr. I K Wong, Conrad, Vice Chairman, and Rosana, Executive Director.

 

Rosana is amazed by how HKHS could find this vacant lot to create miracle out of noting and with a motto of “nothing is impossible” to relieve the housing needs of Hong Kong and its citizens. A 25-storey residential building with a total of 600 units together with 3-storey podium for the offices of Food and Environmental Hygiene Department and the Social Welfare Department as well as an activity room for the residents, estate management office and shops will be built on a slope with an area of only 7,755 sqm. Volumetric Precast Bathroom and Kitchen will be adopted in the project.

These precast concrete elements offer similar advantages of MiC to improve productivity, quality, safety and environmental protection. In addition, 2 large Chinese Banyans are preserved on site, echoing with the adjacent park to create a green and liveable environment for residents. Rosana believes in the thinking of “to seek and you shall find” and promises that Yau Lee Group will put all efforts to collaborate and support the HKHS through different innovation solutions to create more “miracle” projects to benefit the public as a whole.
