“Quality Forum – HK's Built Environment”, with the theme of “Cornerstones of Quality Management” has been hosted by AustCham HK today. This 100+ person face-to-face event featuring government officials & industry practitioners and representatives from AustCham, Ms. Stefanie Evennett, CEO and Ms. Angela Mackay, Board Director, have given their welcoming speeches. After the opening speech delivered by the Guest of Honour, Mr. Ricky Lau, Permanent Secretary for Development, Mr. Michael Fong, Director of Civil Engineering & Development, Ir. C. S. Ho, Chairman of HKQAA, and Ir Albert Cheng, Executive Director of CIC, shared their insights and experience on quality management which are vital for corporations to consider when planning to meet future needs and challenges of the industry.

 

Rosana, Executive Director of Yau Lee Group, has been invited to talk as a guest speaker focusing on innovation and the strengthening and adoption of blockchain technologies and AI development. During the forum, Rosana introduced our innovative construction solutions including MiC and BEANiE, HK’s first blockchain multifunctional platform. Quality management can hence be strengthened even further due to the multiple benefits brought by BEANiE, like improved data integrity, simple track and enquire, and the Corporate Smart Command Theatre under BEANiE 6.0.

 

Via the demonstration of numerous successful cases of the demountable concrete MiC Transitional Housing, Rosana indicated the value of advancing "Innovation & Technology" for quality management and fulfilment of ESG & SDGs. Lastly, Rosana thanked AustCham for their invitation and expected to maintain close collaboration with different stakeholders to promote lean construction while also promoting high-quality development.
