Yau Lee Group held an appreciation dinner to thank the project team of the Eastern Medical Centre - Tsao Yin Kai Block for their hard work and contribution as well as the trust and support from the senior management of the medical centre and local cum international consultants. With all of the efforts, the medical centre was completed earlier as scheduled and will commence service soon.

 

Rosana mentioned that this project is one of the most advanced and challenging medical centres she has managed. The construction area was only about 1,250 square meters, and it is one of the smallest proton therapy centers in the world. The construction team needed to construct a 30-meter deep basement bunker structure to house the proton therapy system. Due to the excellent performance of the team, the client even asked us to take up more tasks such as fitting-out. In addition, the Group also completed the construction of a steel footbridge connecting two blocks of the Eastern Medical Centre. The installation took only half an hour in the last year and won the Gold Award of the QS Award (Innovation).

 

It was absolutely a valuable opportunity for the Group to participate in the project, which not only enabled our team to enrich the unique experience in constructing an innovative medical centre, but also actualise the our vision in terms of social good. In addition to accelerating the construction of quality housing, we also keen on providing an advanced and reliable medical environment for the community. Rosana hopes that the Group will continue to participate in different types of projects in the future and benefit the public with various stakeholders in every aspects of daily life.
