Thanks Thomas, Chairman of the Construction Industry Council (CIC), who led a team of representatives from DevB, Housing Authority, developers and CIC to visit the Subsidised Sales Housing at Hung Shui Kiu Phase 1A. Conrad and Rosana of Yau Lee Group together with Franki and Franco of the Hong Kong Housing Society (HKHS) came to the site to explain the project details in terms of design preparation, latest progress as well as the application of BEANiE and smart site to the guests.

 

This project is one of the key MiC projects in Hong Kong. Both the HS and the Group hope to set a benchmark for the industry. Through the seamless collaboration and hard work of the team, the project can successfully save 75% of manpower. This project also features a specially designed MiC module combining a bathroom into the living room to tackle logistics issue and fully reusable standardised mould design. All these can demonstrate how MiC benefits the construction industry.

 

Everyone had an in-depth technical discussion and explore how to optimize the design of MiC and promote wider adoption in Hong Kong.
