As a council member of the Zonta Club of Kowloon, Rosana Wong of Yau Lee joined its business meeting yesterday (15/8) and thanked President Ada who has invited Zn Christine of AusMed Global Limited to deliver a sharing after the meeting. Same as Ophylla Ventures founded by Rosana, AusMed is also a company stationed in the HKSTP.

 

Christine shared a prototype of a breath ketone analyzer which brings a non-invasive monitor for diabetics. Ketone is an important biomarker for diabetic ketoacidosis and ketosis.

 

Her sharing made Rosana to think about her innovation & technology (I&T) journey. Continuous optimization is definitely required for I&T before carrying out the Proof of Concept and developing prototypes where we might have to deal with a lot of challenges. Therefore, Rosana always reminds herself and encourages I&T fellows that all of us must be persistent in our faith and overcome all difficulties to achieve R&D outcomes.
