Hongkong Electric Innovation Conference, themed Innovating Beyond Boundaries, was held this morning. Thanks Jolly, Senior Adviser of Hongkong Electric, for his invitation, Rosana of Yau Lee Group served as a panelist to share her insights on our innovation journey.

 

Before starting the panel discussions on “Enabling Innovation Culture” and “Innovating Beyond Boundaries”, Francis, MD of Hongkong Electric, delivered the welcoming remarks followed by two keynote addresses by Ir Frank Chan, Hong Kong Deputy to National People’s Congress, and Charleston, Director of the MIT HK Innovation Node.

 

Rosana thinks that it was her great honour to join such a jolly and interactive conference and could feel the passion of the Hongkong Electric once she walked into the lobby because of the powerful music. Passion is one of the core elements for the innovation journey. In addition to passion, wholeheartedness is another core element. Innovation is not easy especially in a conventional industry, however, as long as you work passionately and wholeheartedly and believe what you have done can benefit to the common good, you can inspire others and innovate together towards the goals, and social good will soon follow.
