The Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce (SACC) has invited Ms. Rosana Wong, Executive Director of Yau Lee Group, as Keynote Speaker at their Webinar themed with “Actionable ESG Strategies for Smart Cities” today. After the opening remarks and the introduction given by Dr. Urs Lustenberger, Chairman of SACC, and Mr. Seng Low, Special Adviser of SACC and Co-chairman of Singapore Committee respectively, Rosana highlighted her experiences and insights on the development of smart city as well as the incorporation of the DNA of ESG & SDGs into our core businesses for social and common good via enhancing the development of sustainable smart city, green buildings, construction digitalization & innovation as well as green financing. She thus presented numerous iconic projects, such as Green Hotel 2.0, L. Living 23 – a redevelopment of residential and commercial building with the concept of smart and healthy living in an old urban district, Disciplined Quarters for the Fire Services Department at Pak Shing Kok – a pilot project of the government to adopt MiC, and various demountable MiC transitional housing projects to demonstrate the value of strengthening and adopting innovative technology solutions.

 

Rosana, as Founder and President of Ophylla Ventures (OV), also introduced MobiPro, our autonomous vehicle which will soon provide shuttle service in the HKSTP, and AI robotics which can improve construction safety and productivity. She added that HKU’s Joint Lab on Future Cities and RCA’s Global AI Future Cities Lab, both supported by her, have already completed various research developments and will proactively carry out cross-culture collaboration on different local and global research to help facilitate a smarter world.
