As one of the panel speakers, Rosana of Yau Lee Group shared that the Group has always considered ESG in every aspect as well as fulfilled all 17 SDGs in order to build a more sustainable and liveable community . As a main contractor, a manufacturer and a developer, we have reduced environmental impacts to local communities and increased project transparency through the adoption of Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) in diversified building categories with the help of blockchain technology.
To conclude the discussion, all panel speakers were invited to share the future planning to enhance ESG. Rosana emphasised that ESG is not only for the listed companies but SMEs should also deal with it. We should help SMEs and join hands together to implement ESG practices, in particular from common goods to social goods. We should also address greenwashing behaviour properly in order to maintain a healthy framework for digitalised ESG development in the future.
