The Construction Industry Council (CIC) has invited Mr. Jussi Aho, Chairman of Sitedrive, to be the keynote speaker of the monthly CIC Chairman’s lunch held in the ZCP this afternoon. Jussi shared the journey of construction’s systemic change in Finland as an example of digital solutions driving transformative shifts in the industry, from the lack of an effective software to facilitate in achieving data driven to an integrated platform supporting the construction sector to realise significant time and cost savings in projects.

 

Apart from the sharing from Jussi, a panel discussion between local practitioners was also held. Rosana of Yau Lee Group thanks Thomas, Chairman of the CIC, for his invitation as well as his tremendous effort in connecting all local stakeholders and international experts. Though Hong Kong has already gained a reputation over the years for the construction of quality high‑rise buildings, and the adoption of specialised construction techniques, it offers a valuable opportunities for all participate to learn from each others and explore rooms for continuous improvement.
