The insurance industry has always been a close partner of the construction industry. In order to raise their awareness of MiC, Rosana and Simon of Yau Lee Group welcomed nearly 30 representatives from 17 local and international insurance companies to visit Yau Lee Wah Mega Plant in Huizhou this morning (8/8) and shared MiC technology and related innovative solutions which enabled a hands-on experience for them to have further understanding, indirectly facilitating the long-term development of the construction industry in Hong Kong.

 

Rosana first showcased our MiC experiences, including the completion of 6,767 MiC modules for several projects. She also explained the technical details of the existing projects one by one. To cope with the Group’s current MiC projects, the annual production capacity of the Mega Plant has increased significantly by 230%, which just hits a record high. Rosana then led the delegation to visit MiC production lines and different innovative AI equipment, such as automated MiC mould production and the AI welding robot which impressed them the most as they do not expect the entire welding process could be completed remotely in the air-conditioned room.

 

A simple lunch with special seating arrangement has been arranged after the visit to facilitate an in-depth cross-company discussion. Everyone expressed that the visit enabled them to fully understand MiC technology and greatly benefits their works in the future. Rosana was delighted to receive appreciations from the delegation on the Group’s MiC technology, AI applications as well as plant operation management. She looks forward to arranging another visit at our construction sites for the delegation and strengthening collaboration with the insurance industry towards the development of the construction industry in Hong Kong.
